Evans Vanodine have developed a COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Risk Assessment Portal.
The new COSHH Risk Assessment Portal is only available to users of Evans Vanodine chemicals and provides the tools to create and store your own company risk assessments.
The portal has been designed with a variety of businesses in mind, ranging from independent and contract cleaning companies, to single and multi-site companies, such as pub and hotel chains. One major benefit of this portal is that assessments and reports can be created, stored and accessed under one login/account. This enables multi-site companies to reduce their workload, since certain aspects of the reports can be pre-populated, and, in some instances, eliminates the need for multiple assessments for the same task.
The portal is intended to take the hassle out of creating risk assessments, helping users of our Evans’ chemicals know how and when to create them. It covers the hazards within a risk assessment: respiratory, eyes, skin and ingestion and advises what control measures should be implemented to reduce the risk of those hazards to ALARP (“as low as reasonably practicable”).
