Apprentice Celebrates Success

Futures Supplies is delighted to announce that Perry Wilson has become the first Apprentice to successfully complete his apprenticeship, and to be offered a full time position with the company, in the Logistics Department. Perry follows in Callum’s footsteps, who was offered a full time position in 2012, following completing his successful apprenticeship with Futures Supplies in business and administration.

Perry worked incredibly hard and we are delighted to see yet anot
her young person join the team after successfully gaining a NVQ and completing 9 months training. In his role as Warehouse Assistant, we see Perry responsible for supporting customers when collecting from our warehouse in Croydon, accurately picking goods and assisting the loading of vans.

Perry says, “I really like to keep fit and active and working in the warehouse is something which helps with that.  Being part of a family- run business means that I have got to know everyone and I am really enjoying my work.”

The Cleaning Show 2013

Cleaning Show 2013The UK’s only major cleaning industry event, The Cleaning Show, where companies can market, sell and promote their products and services to an international audience took place between 19th & 21st March.

The Cleaning Show is a showcase for all products and services used in the cleaning and support services industry. It is held every two years on behalf of the cleaning industry by BCCE Ltd, a company jointly owned by the British Cleaning Council and Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions.Each year it gets bigger and better, attracting thousands of visitors keen to see all that’s new in the cleaning sector.

With more than 200 exhibitors taking part and many of the cleaning industry attending, Marc Kemp, Futures Supplies Financial Director and Dan Hills, Operations Manager visited to keep up to date with any new innovations on offer, meet with suppliers and take the opportunity to share a few drinks with some valued customers.

We are delighted to congratulate our suppliers Connect Hygiene for collecting the Washroom Products and Services Innovation Award for its Leonardo Compact Range and Unger for receiving the Window Cleaning Products and Service Innovation Award for its HiFlo Lite/Waterfed Pole technology at this year’s show.

Katrin Handy Packs Deliver Innovation

Katrin Handy Packs2Constantly delivering on innovation and sustainability, Futures Supplies has recently added the Handy Pack hand towels to its range from Metsa Tissue. A plastic case with carry handles which enhance hygiene; the new Handy Packs are extremely durable and protect the contents from moisture as well as delivering on hygiene, value and sustainability.
