Futures Supplies’ Office Manager, Andrew Hills is taking part in the ‘UK End 2 End’ 1,000-mile charity bike ride from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. Organised by leading children’s charity Action Medical Research, the event runs from 22nd to 30th May 2011
Starting on the most south-westerly tip of England, the participants will cycle almost 1,000 miles through the beautiful British countryside. Andy will pedal his way through stunning counties such as Cornwall and Devon, head north along the Welsh border before skirting the Lake District into Scotland encountering lochs and highlands before hitting the North Coast and the most northern point of Britain, John O’Groats.
Action Medical Research is a leading UK charity focusing on child health and Andrew is hoping to raise £ 5,000 to help fund their vital research. Training since summer 2010, Andy has taken part in several of the charities 100-mile day rides in preparation for the massive 115 mile average a day he will be cycling.
