The recent introduction of ‘Telematics’ technology vehicle tracking system to all our vehicles has seen almost immediate improvement to the delivery operations for our customers.
As well as improving daily routing, the GPRS system provides up to the minute information for customers wanting to know when their delivery will arrive.

As part of our commitment to development and training, all our vehicle drivers participated in the RAC Driver Awareness Training.
A half day individual intensive course run by the RAC aims to reduce accident probability by over 70% as well as cover observation, concentration, anticipation, awareness, mirror use, signal use, signage use and fuel efficiency.

Working with Seltrans we have now launched our very first travel plan.
Its objective is to encourage sustainable travel to and from work and implement a sustainable travel policy throughout the business.
With the help of a grant we have been able to purchase our first bike and have a shower installed. A total of three members of the team are now cycling to work each day.
As one of the first companies to be awarded a prestigious ‘Gold Envibe Award’ we were recently subjected to a vigorous audit which was undertaken at our premises by members of the Envibe Board.
Evidence of all aspects of our Environmental Management System was reviewed along with our initiatives in relation to energy reduction, waste reduction and community involvement.
